Halloween is one of my kids’ favorite holidays. They get super excited about finding the perfect costume to wear, and there is no shortage of delicious Halloween-themed snacks for kids (and parents) to savor and enjoy.

One way that I like to build up the anticipation for October 31st with my own kids is to work in themed snacks throughout the entire month. I choose recipes that are quick to put together, have few ingredients, and are often ones my girls can make on their own.

These Halloween-themed snacks are perfect for after-school treats, weekend family time in the kitchen, or for your child to bring to a classroom party. You can even post this master list in your kitchen and let your kiddos choose which ones they want to try the most.

I know that the month of October can seem like one giant cavity waiting to happen, so I’ve also included several savory Halloween recipes that are on the healthier side.

They aren’t specifically for Halloween, but check out these fall snacks that kids can make themselves and these kid-approved fall recipes. They’re just as tasty but without the spooky factor!
