Emirates presented Real Madrid with a luxurious A380, a double-decker private jet that the team uses on their away fixtures
Real Madrid has a Herculean task ahead of them when they face Manchester City in the second-leg fixture of the Champions League semi-final. Having lost the previous encounter by 4-1, the hosts will need to overcome a one-goal deficit at Santiago Bernabeu to reach the final.
Winning the Champions League will provide a massive boost to the teams financial health for the upcoming season. They are a team under transition, and true to their persona, they will spend lavishly in the transfer market to bolster the squad. Further, their contract with main sponsor Emirates will also come to an end this summer. It remains to be seen whether Emirates will go for a renewal once the season ends.
With the domestic title already secured, another trophy in their cabinet will also put them in a better position to negotiate with their new sponsors.
The UAE-based airline company has been the club’s main sponsor since 2013. In 2017, both parties renewed the sponsorship agreement, as per which the Emirates had to pay 70 million euros for the next five years. Moreover, Emirates also presented Real Madrid with a luxurious A380, a double-decker private jet that the team uses for their away fixtures.
The aircraft has a massive lounge and min-bar, and each player gets a personal tablet loaded with over 4000 channels. The seats in the A380 can be converted into comfortable beds; a must-have for the team that goes on long journeys.
The Galacticos also have private shower rooms and sinks, designed by Diehl’s Comfort Modules. The shower room is laden with illuminated cosmetic mirrors, hairdryers, and exquisite wooden panels.
Overall, luxury is at an all-time high in the jet and it delivers the team with all things comfort and convenience.
